I recently had to reformat the drive and downloaded the new version of the install tool dedicated to 32 bit computers. This version caused the problem to the writers. It would not install Windows because it was looking for drivers.
Fujitsu Siemens D 48 Drivers
I have a fully supported scanner, a Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500M (04c5:11a2) on a USB3 connection. It is recognised when I type lsusb. It is recognised in dmesg. It is recognised when I type sane-find-scanner. It is present in /etc/sane.d/fujitsu.conf. It is enabled in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf. I am a member of the group saned. I have tried the USB3 workaround. But still, when I use scanimage -L,Xsane or Document Scanner, I get nothing - no scanner recognised. I'm using Ubuntu 20.10 with libsane 1.0.31.
few day ago I bought my first Dell laptop (Inspiron 7720) and I can't make my bluetooth audiosystem (Logitech Mini Boombox) to work. I've got positive experience on Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Xi2550 and on HP Compaq 6530b, where I had to just download another drivers for widdcomm bt adapter. I tried to do this trick o this computer, but I get only three bluetooth peripheral devices, which I can't install, because there is no driver for them. What shoud I do to make audio transfer through A2DP to work?
After problems with connection to my phone a asumed, it's not problem only with Logitech Mini Boombox, but with bluetooth drivers in general... so I tried again drivers from Dell's Inspiron 7720 driver web page, but no luck. So I've been looking for separate BT drivers for centrino n-2230 and I found this:
Like I said, I had a similar problem no HP Compaq 6530b. Supposedly Windows 7 don't carry support of A2DP protocol, so I found original Widdcomm drivers BTW_6.2.0.9700 and with them I've got it to work.
So on this Dell laptop, when MS drivers and Dell drivers can't work with this audio device, I tried to use Widdcomm drivers in version mentioned above and in current version of 6.5.1.2501 but the result is the same, except I don't see just 3 bluetooth peripheral devices but only two and moreover there is Bluetooth Remote Control and Bluetooth Hands-free Audio. So I know, I'm on the right path but not quiet there yet.
It seems that the problem is with the Bluetooth stack being loaded from Microsoft. Please follow the steps below to change the device installation settings to never use the drivers from windows updates.
After changing the settings, you will need to uninstall all the wireless and Bluetooth drivers. You can uninstall the drivers by going into the device manager, right click on the drivers and uninstall. Once the drivers are uninstalled restart the system and reinstall the Dell wireless and Bluetooth drivers and the Widdcomm drivers BTW_6.2.0.9700 and check the functionality.
- Click on "Let Me Pick from a List of Device Drivers on my computer".- Select 'Bluetooth Radio' from the list if it asked you to select and then in the next window, it will show a list of drivers with Company Names in one list and Drivers in another. In the Company List choose'Microsoft Corporation', not only Microsoft. - From the drivers list there may be one or more drivers with the name "Windows Mobile-Based Device Support" with different driver versions. Select one or the latest.- Ignore any warnings and keep pressing next and then Finish at last. If all goes well, the last screen will show the message that device driver is successfully installed. After manually updating the driver for your Bluetooth device, in 'Device Manager' when you click on 'Bluetooth Radios', it should display one more item which will say 'Windows Mobile-based device support'. There are few more things that you want to pay attention to. If you have already added the device in your 'Bluetooth device list' that didn't work, then remove the device and add it again. After you add it, you might need to restart the computer if it gave you a connection problem error message.
